Hon. Sikiru Reiterates his commitment to youth development in Ewekoro
Hon. Sikiru Adesina Adisa, the executive chairman of Ewekoro Local Government, has reiterated his commitment to youth development in the area. He has donated a sum of 500,000 naira to support the ongoing Youth Empowerment and Skill-Acquisition Center in Ewekoro.
The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) Ewekoro branch recently visited the office of the Executive Chairman to express appreciation for his support and to declare their support for his administration.
During the visit, Hon. Sikiru promised to hand over the land deed agreement for the center and also pledged to provide continuous monthly stipends for the NYCN Ewekoro branch.
According to Hon. Sikiru, “I like to motivate people to do more. I will never promise what I will not do. Once I promise, I will surely fulfill it. I am very happy that the little touch they are asking for is still within my capacity.”
“Even if I am not in power or office, if I hear about a progressive project like this, I will definitely support it because I like to contribute to progressive things. As for the ongoing Youth Empowerment and Skill Acquisition Center, nothing will change my promise, as I will personally be donating 500,000 naira to the building.”
