Freshers’ cup 2024: Rules and Regulations

RULES OF THE COMPETITION

1. All Fifa laws governing the game of Football will be applied.
2. Sixteen (16) players plus two (2) officials shall be registered.
3. Payment made for the registration form remains non-refundable.
4. Every yellow card issued to players shall attract five hundred naira (N500) payment while every red card issued to any player shall attract one thousand naira (N1,000) payment.
5. All card (Yellow/Red card) payment must be made on/or before the teams next match otherwise, such team will be disallowed from playing their next match.
6. Office of sport the sport director have the absolute power to disallow any team from further participation in the competition if found culpable of any misconduct or act of indiscipline.
7. All teams are mandated to be at their match venue to time as only a grace of 10 minutes shall be given after which the process of walkover shall be commenced.
8. All walk over shall result to the award of 3 goals & 3 points to available team.
9. Any petition or protest:- All protest shall be made in writing with a fee of five thousand naira (N2,000) and must be submitted to the office of sport director within 24 hours.
10. Any team or player(s) of a team found assaulting the match officials shall be suspended indefinitely from further participation in this competition.
